Bundkortet har fået Intel's Gigabit integreret LAN port, sammen med ASUS LANGuard, der giver bedre beskyttelse mod kortslutning.

Lydkortet er blevet hævet en smule for at kunne få plads til det. ASUS har brugt deres egen S1220A audio chip, som egentlig blot er en opgraderet ALC1220 fra Realtek. ASUS har selvfølgelig brugt Nichicon caps, og har også valgt at bruge to OP forstærkere til headset brugere.
